Angelita Cardoso
I’m Brazilian and I live in São Paulo. Graduated in History was in 2006, in search of deeper knowledge about the artistic techniques that I began to study drawing. Since then, I fell in love and did not stop. I work with painting and engraving. I studied painting, illustration and watercolor in some of the main art schools of São Paulo, Brazil. In 2007, I traveled to Italy, where I deepened some studies in drawing, watercolor. I started the calcography studies in 2008 and in 2010 I organized, along with other artists, the “Aquaforte” studio dedicated to engraving. I often participate in collective exhibitions in Brazil and in March / 2017 I did my first solo exhibition with the theme on feminine.
What motivates you to be an artist?
Love. Passion.
Why is art important to you?
In art, I find my peace. I need to do, be close. Without art, my sky turns completely gray.
