Ben Leung
Ben Leung completed his degree in Interior Design of Birmingham Institute of Art and Design, while he has taken an Advanced Diploma in Fine Arts from School of Continuing and Professional Studies, CUHK in 2016 to expand on his works & artistic life. Ben’s artworks have been presented at ARTNEXT 2017 in Hong Kong most recently. He is interested in the idea of how can the changing pattern of metropolitan affect or preserve parts the human identity. The concept of the series “Invisible” are exploring the perception between in-front & behind through the idea by using of organic & human form which concerned how ruthless society can be about our appearances.
What motivates you to be an artist?
Art is one of communicative language of human being. It enhances us to join together & share an experience from different walks of life & cultures. It can make the world more inclusive.
Why is art important to you?
Art is a free form expression that give more chance to share something that may not be able articulated any other way.
